The Voelz lab made an excellent showing at the National Fall Meeting of the American Chemical Society, held in San Francisco August 10-14.

Congratulations to Amanda Wakefield, who won best undergraduate poster in the COMP division, for her presentation "Conformational properties of cyclic RGD peptides by molecular simulation".

Other poster presentations:
George Pantelopulos - "Molecular simulation of the p53-MDM2 binding interface"
Guangfeng Zhou - "Toward computational design of albocycline analogs"
Asghar Razavi - "Computational screening and selection of cyclic peptide hairpin mimetics by molecular simulation and kinetic network models"

Sudipto Mukherjee gave an excellent talk on his work "Improved backbone parameters for peptoid modeling"
